The Dawn of Accepting Christ as the Ruler of God's Creation
In 2004, I lived in a 1 room apartment about 200 to 300 yards from the Atlantic Ocean. It wasn't a luxurious place, more of a converted garage to an apartment. As history has it, that year for Florida was one of the most active in recent times for hurricanes. I rode out Hurricanes Charley, Frances and Jeanne that summer and fall. That year was the first time in the history of tracking hurricanes that Florida was affected by 4 hurricanes in one season. Experiencing them was not fun although to see the power of such, being so close to the beach, was awe inspiring. I had never see the ocean so wild and fearsome. I thanked God for getting me through those storms unscathed and with so little problems. The very worst for me had been going without power for 11 days. I never did loose water. After the season was over, it was a relief.
The 2005 hurricane season for Florida was substantially lighter although Florida was hit by 3 hurricanes, 1 in the Florida Pan Handle and 2 in South Florida. None came through Central Florida where I lived in Satellite Beach (the Space Coast). In August of 2005, Hurricane Katrina formed in the Bahamas. I think the entire world knows about Hurricane Katrina. That hurricane slammed New Orleans so hard, that they were almost totally destroyed. I remember watching the news about the aftermath of the hurricane and watching a local news anchors report on the devastation. He was standing on I-10 and there were all kinds of people on the interstate because it was the high ground from the flooded area. He made a comment that enraged me, and caused me to believe that our President must be insensitive to human life. The news anchor stated that the people on I-10 had received no emergency help and had gone without fresh water for 2 days. 2 days! This wasn't even considering food. I was angry. To top it off, people were saying that it must have been what they deserved because they must be a very sinful city. They weren't considering what we as Floridians went through the previous year. The 2005 Hurricane Season concluded with 31 tropical depressions of which 28 became tropical storms and of those 7 became major Category 3 hurricanes. It was Biblical. Was God's wrath venting upon our nation? I don't know. I do know that he says in the Old Testament that He will bring calamity upon men in order for them to turn to God for help. You see, this is what He wants from us. That we should turn to Him for help.
In the Spring of 2006 I experienced an epiphany while reading the verse Revelation 3:14 in the New International Version Study Bible. In that version of the Bible, it is written that Jesus simply says that He is the "ruler of God's creation". With the approaching 2006 Hurricane Season, I proposed on the Bell South Christian Message Board that acknowledging to Christ Jesus, that if we accept Him as being "Ruler of God's Creation" it should yield a less volatile hurricane season. All that was needed was for there to be two or more of us that agreed on this. Matthew 18:19 "Again, I tell you that if two of you on Earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in Heaven." I believed that praying down the hurricanes was possible with this acknowledgment.
I am one that believes in preventative prayer as well as prayer for sustained Faith after disaster. Preventative prayer works and it is a way to prove to nonbelievers that Faith in Christ Jesus is strong. What was it that Jesus said to the Disciples when they, in a panic, woke Him up in a boat on a lake while a storm had come up causing them to believe they were going to sink. What did He say? Matthew 8:26, "You of little Faith, why are you so afraid?" Jesus then got up and rebuked the wind and waves and it was completely calm. Just what the "Ruler of God's Creation" could do.

An Effort of Faith
The Hurricane Season of 2006 was quite a drastic difference to the previous two years. I had a feeling in my soul that something was going to be different for the year. I had a feeling that I had found some one that had agreed with me in Spirit about what I was saying in acknowledging Christ Jesus as the Ruler of God's Creation (Revelation 3:14). This was the first time since 2001 that no hurricanes struck the United States. At the end of the season I was elated.
Well, for the years since 2006, I have sought out a form of media that I could communicate the blessing of acknowledging Jesus as the Ruler of God's Creation for the sake of subduing hurricane seasons. Spring of 2007, I believed that I should seek out another website to try the same thing again. The website I selected was the Christian Message Boards BBS. This time I ran into a snag. I was confronted by opposition from an atheist that badgered me mercilessly accusing me of believing that I was trying to say that I could control hemispherical weather patterns. Also some Christians, Texasgranny in particular, began to show objection to my efforts. Again the Hurricane Season was phenomenal as there was a substantial reduction in hurricanes to hit the United States. As a matter of fact, only one hit and that one hit Texas. The next Hurricane Season, things got even tougher. I was laid off from my job and no longer had access to the internet. Being laid off meant that funds were very limited also. I decided to buy an ad in the Thrifty Nickle. The ad didn't cost cost much, and I believed it was worth a try. To see the results of the 2008 Hurricane Season, refer to the Atlantic Storm Tracking Map of 2008. As you can see from the 2008 map, the season wasn't as successful as the previous two years. I tried and that is all I can say.
Fall of 2008 my Mama passed away. From her I had inherited a small gift of cash that I received in early Spring 2009. Of that money, still being financially strapped, I took about $1,500 and invested in a half page ad in the Florida Today Newspaper. The ad was displaying some poems that I was going to artfully create plaques of, numbered and signed, and sell for a reasonable price. Within the context of the ad I had noted the efforts I had made the previous years of finding an agreement in Faith that Jesus is the Ruler of God's Creation and acknowledging this would yield a less volatile Hurricane Season. Refer to the Atlantic Storm Tracking Map of 2009 to see the results of that season. If you went to the Wikipedia webpage link you saw that there was no Hurricane Season. Amazing, I believe that the 2009 Hurricane Season was dramatically affected by the half page ad I ran. Also, I believe that the number of people that tried acknowledging Christ as the Ruler of God's Creation must have been substantially greater than any of the previous years that I tried this effort.
Another year passed and I was still struggling finically. Things were a little better though because I was at least back online. This time, instead of seeking out a Christian website, I sought a Social Networking Site. That would be Twitter. The year was fairly impressive, but very active. Check out the 2010 Hurricane Season link. I did receive some grief from some of the other people on the site. I think that there was a resistance to the effort by some of those on Twitter as they were decidedly atheist and one Muslim convert.
We are now in the 2011 Season and you all are probably aware of the results of this season so far. Hurricane Irene was the first hurricane to make land fall in the USA since Hurricane Ike in 2008. All in all, the 2011 Hurricane Season is shaping up to be a pretty good season.

For Healing the Sick
Matthew 18:19 "Again, I tell you that if two of you on Earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in Heaven." I have had the experience of witnessing healing from Christ Jesus first hand. When I was very young, 4 or 5 years old, it had become time for me and my sister to get our small pox vaccination. I'm old enough to say that I experienced the kind of vaccination that involved multiple needle pricks to the upper arm near the shoulder. I don't think they've given those kind since the 1950's. Well, mine developed into a massive wound, about the size of a quarter. It itched a lot. I was always picking at it, which just made it worse. One night, as I was going to bed, I was complaining about how much it hurt and itched. My step-mother made the comment, out of irritation, to pray to Jesus for it get well. She must have noticed something about me when she said that because then she added 'and pray for your sister too'. I did just that. I prayed for my sister and myself to be healed of our vaccination sores. The next morning I found that my sore was completely healed. It was gone. My sister's sore was healed also. A voice in my head told me to go and wake up my step-mother, with my sister, and show her that the sores were gone. I don't know where the voice came from, but I do know that I had heard it in my head before. This is a true story.
I know in my heart that healing from God and Jesus is possible and very real. There is another instance that I have never told anyone about, and probably never will because it came close but something kept it from completely happening. I was an adult with that instance. I am crusading to the public now days, that calling upon Jesus Christ, acknowledging Him to be the Ruler of God's Creation, will bring about miracles. It started that way, since 2006, for praying down hurricanes. I believe with all my heart and mind that people can be healed of all their sicknesses by making this acknowledgment to Christ. When two or more of us come together professing this acknowledgment, our chances of success for what we are asking for greatly increase.
If you have friend or family members that need to be made well, get together with some one you trust to be as sincere as yourself, to ask for the healing hand of Christ Jesus to touch them. Have Faith. Don't be afraid. Matthew 8:26, "You of little Faith, why are you so afraid?" Don't be one that Jesus rebukes for being afraid. There will be those that say that it "builds character" from the suffering. It does do that, but it can also blind you that you had done it all by yourself. Don't be blinded. Put your trust in God. Put your trust in Jesus. Put your trust in the Holy Spirit. Just try. If it doesn't work at first, don't give up. Maybe adding more friends and family to the number of people praying in this way will yield the positive response you seek. Praise God, Praise God. Amen.

War is Over NOW!
In 2010 I created a Twitter account as https://twitter.com/#!/. It was specifically for espousing beliefs in Christ Jesus being the Ruler of God's Creation (Revelation 3:14). "War is over now." was my first Tweet. I was inspired by John Lennon in the '70's by his proclamation of "War is over now!" to believe that war should be over and that PEACE is the goal of the world. I believe that we can overcome the hate and violence of this world to attain PEACE. It is up to individuals to pursue this.
Personally, I think that understanding and accepting Christ as the Ruler of God's Creation will do this. As you may have read in my other blog posts, I believe that accepting Christ to be the Ruler of God's Creation has enabled the calming of the Hurricane Seasons of the past 5 years. With seeing this as partially successful, I feel that the same can be applied to bringing about World PEACE. Acknowledging Christ the title of "Ruler of God's Creation" specifically raises Him up in our minds and hearts to be above all things. It is this Awareness that will end war now. I believe that the more individuals come together in this Spirit, that a unified power, will bring about the end to all violence and hatred among men. I believe that we should realize that it is through the meekness of prayer and not the use of weaponry or war that will bring sustained PEACE. It should not be through the might of ones army that global PEACE is attained. King David, the greatest of all soldiers, understood this when he declared, "The Meek will inherit the land and enjoy great PEACE." (Psalm 37:11). Psalm 33:16 says, "No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength."
Out of love for our own soldiers, here in the USA and our allies, we should step it up and make this a reality so that they should not have to have the blood of men on their hands. We read and hear on a daily basis of the sadness of neighbors loosing loved ones for our benefit of having a great and blessed land to live in. We should feel obligated to offer our prayer in the ending of all war. No more war is something that can come to pass if we want it. It just has to be by the sincere and truthful way that it only can be accomplished.
God hates that people kill each other in war. The Earth cries out in agony every time the ground is stained with the blood of humans. We know that the terrorist are completely wrong in assessing that the only way to bring about the conversion of those that disagree with them is through murdering them. Innocent blood is spilled by the terrorist, whether it is some one of their faith or our own Faith. Please, I beg of you that read this post, acknowledge Christ Jesus as the Ruler of God's Creation to bring about the end of war and usher in the time of 1000 years of PEACE as it is written in the Bible.
The Lord's Prayer
Matthew 6:5-14, these verses have Jesus teaching us about prayer. First, He tells us that our prayers are between ourselves and God and shouldn't be for showing off. A prayer that is publicly performed, without others coming together in the prayer for a common good, but just for show, has earned the individual the recognition of those that see it. Privacy in prayer is the best way to approach God for His acknowledgement. When you pray to your Father, who is unseen, do it privately. Then your Father in Heaven, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. God and Jesus are capable of searching hearts and minds and know all secrets. This is why one should not babble on and on with words that are simply for show.
The Lord's Prayer is the most concise prayer that anyone could possibly say. I believe that it basically covers everything we need on a daily basis. "Our Father, who is in Heaven, hallow is your Name." This fulfills the First Commandment of the Ten Commandments, expressing that God the Father is Holy and above all. "May your Kingdom come, and your will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven." This invites and welcomes God into ones life and acknowledges that it should be like Heaven here on Earth. "Give us today our daily bread." We then ask the Lord for our nourishment, our food. "And forgive us of our trespasses, as we forgive those that trespass against us."
After asking for our sustenance, we ask to be forgiven of our sins against our neighbors recognizing that we should be as forgiving as we expect God to be toward us. If we want to be forgiven by God, we should be forgiving and if we don't forgive those that sin against us our Father will not forgive us.
"Lead us not into temptation," in other words keep us strong in His will for the better, guiding us away from doing wrong. "but deliver us from evil," a request for protection from harm. "For it is your power and Glory forever and ever." Finally it is summed up to be for God's Glory that we have made this prayer and that it should be forever for His Glory. Amen.

Who is God?
I remember about a week following 9/11/2001 a TV program that was on to try and enlighten the general public about the Islam religion. It was an attemp to quell any backlash or pursuit of revenge against the Muslim followers living among us here in the USA. The religious leader that had been called upon sought to say that the god they believe in was the same as the Christians as they consider that he is the creator. Well that was all fine and good but I wasn't accepting it. How could their god be the Creator when our Faiths were so different. I am unaware of what the Koran says, but if it doesn't profess Christ as the Son of God, I won't accept it as truth. I am aware that the Muslim call the Christians infidels. I am not espousing that persecution or revenge is the thing to do toward the Muslim but I did decide to make a list of what I accept as who God is. The following is the list that I compiled as realized from reading the Holy Bible.
God to me is:
1. Infinite
2. I can’t comprehend His name
3. He is greater than anyone’s imagination
4. He knows me better than I do
(another good reason for not judging others)
5. He searches hearts and minds
6. Any eyes can be His
7. He created the dark as well as the light
8. He is Love
9. He is Faith
10. He is Service
11. He is Patient
12. He is Aware
13. He is Humble
14. He is Committed
15. He is Truth
16. He is Fair
17. He is Justice
18. He is Alive
19. He gives Life
20. He is Nature’s Creator
21. He is a Savior
22. He is a Protector
23. He deserves Acknowledgment
24. He deserves Thanks
25. He is Peaceful
26. He is Confident
27. He is Caring
28. He is a Giver
29. He does not think the way men do
30. He is Perfect, without blemish

Searching for the Seven Spirits of God
For many years I have worked at understanding and conveying the knowledge that I have received from reading the scripture of the Christian Bible. I had hoped over the years to be able to earn a living from my efforts and pursue other channels of brining Glory to the Lord's Name. I have to admit that I have been overly zealous and proven to be wrong about some of my conclusions in wisdom of the knowledge of my undertaking.
I was in church one Sunday in 1976 when the pastor made the comment that he was going to lead the congregation into study of the book of Revelation over the coming weeks. He made the comment that it was the hardest book in the Bible to understand. I thought to myself then; "Aha, this could be how I will get famous." I had grown up with some kind of mindset that fame was in my future. I had not, until then, not even had an idea how this "dream" would come true. As a matter of fact, I had sort of given up on this happening. But then, the flame of the "dream of fame" almost being extinguished burst into a full-blown bonfire. I was going to be famous for understanding Revelation.
The imagery in Revelation is awe inspiring. The first chapter reveals a secret meaning from Jesus. Just the sort of thing I was looking for. I would surely be famous for figuring out the secret meaning of the 7 Gold Lampstands and the 7 Stars in the Lord's right hand. I became so engrossed in understanding this that I even dreamed about it. Originally I felt that the following 7 Messages to the 7 Churches all had to do with the 10 Commandments. But how? I awoke from the dream realizing that the the 7 messages to the 7 churches was realizing the 7 Spirits of God, in which reside in all men and could be strengthened with concentrated effort recognizing the names of each Spirit. Later I saw that the verse, Revelation 1:20 was a riddle in the same vein as Samson's riddles. The names that I attributed to each angel or Spirit of God are as follows, the message to the Church of Ephesus was a message about the Spirit of God – Love; the message to the Church of Smyrna was a message about the Spirit of God – Faith; the message to the Church of Pergamum was a message about the Spirit of God – Service (originally I thought it was about speaking only to revise that after about 10 years to Service); the message to the Church of Thyatira was a message about the Spirit of God – Patience (originally I thought it was about sex only to revise that after about 10 years to Patience. This was largely due to the reaction from clergy and people in general that I was way off about this.); the message to the Church in Sardis was a message about the Spirit of God – Awareness; the message to the Church in Philadelphia was a message about the Spirit of God – Humility (again, originally I thought it was about leadership only to revise that, after about 20 years, to Humility.
You see it has been a long and arduous venture on my part.); finally to conclude, the message to the Church in Laodicea was a message about the Spirit of God – Committal. So in 1976, I thought I had figured out the names of the 7 Spirits of God to later in 1985, to revise and change the names of 2 of them. Still wasn't getting famous for figuring this out and had to accept that I had been giving a bad interpretation for 10 years. I thought I was done finally but I still was perplexed and having a feeling that I was wrong about the message to the Church in Philadelphia because Jesus says call no man Leader as there is only one Leader and that being Christ. In 1997 I finally realized that it wasn't leadership but Humility is the Spirit of God referred to as the Key of David. Still haven't gotten famous. You can say that I did this all with the wrong attitude but it has been done. These 7 Spirits, as identified, can act as a self help tool of focus for any individual. It makes the Holy Bible very interesting reading to see these words or names used consistantly through out the Old Testament. Love, Faith, Service, Patience, Awareness, Humility, Committal. Still not famous, but I'm a whole lot wiser.

Later I saw that the verse, Revelation 1:20 was a riddle in the same vein as Samson's riddles. The names that I attributed to each angel or Spirit of God are as follows, the message to the Church of Ephesus was a message about the Spirit of God – Love; the message to the Church of Smyrna was a message about the Spirit of God – Faith; the message to the Church of Pergamum was a message about the Spirit of God – Service (originally I thought it was about speaking only to revise that after about 10 years to Service); the message to the Church of Thyatira was a message about the Spirit of God – Patience (originally I thought it was about sex only to revise that after about 10 years to Patience. This was largely due to the reaction from clergy and people in general that I was way off about this.); the message to the Church in Sardis was a message about the Spirit of God – Awareness; the message to the Church in Philadelphia was a message about the Spirit of God – Humility (again, originally I thought it was about leadership only to revise that, after about 20 years, to Humility.
You see it has been a long and arduous venture on my part.); finally to conclude, the message to the Church in Laodicea was a message about the Spirit of God – Committal. So in 1976, I thought I had figured out the names of the 7 Spirits of God to later in 1985, to revise and change the names of 2 of them. Still wasn't getting famous for figuring this out and had to accept that I had been giving a bad interpretation for 10 years. I thought I was done finally but I still was perplexed and having a feeling that I was wrong about the message to the Church in Philadelphia because Jesus says call no man Leader as there is only one Leader and that being Christ. In 1997 I finally realized that it wasn't leadership but Humility is the Spirit of God referred to as the Key of David. Still haven't gotten famous. You can say that I did this all with the wrong attitude but it has been done. These 7 Spirits, as identified, can act as a self help tool of focus for any individual. It makes the Holy Bible very interesting reading to see these words or names used consistantly through out the Old Testament. Love, Faith, Service, Patience, Awareness, Humility, Committal. Still not famous, but I'm a whole lot wiser.
666 is One Number, Not 6-6-6
On the day that President Reagan was shot, a friend and I were working in an apartment wet vacuuming it because it had been flooded by a water heater leak. The apartment was furnished and had a TV. We turned it on and caught the news about the President. My friend began telling me that he had heard stories about Ronald Reagan possibly being the Beast as his first, middle and last name contained six letters in each. I wondered what he meant and he told me about the Beast in the Revelation that had a number that stood for his name, that being 666.
Actually having read the Bible cover to cover, I had completely forgotten about the Beast as most of my reading and pursuit of understanding in Revelation had been mostly confined to the Seven Messages to the Seven Churches. As I had stated in the post "Searching for the 7 Spirits of God", I believed that I had figured out the names of the Seven Spirits of God. Well, here I go again, I'm going to now figure out who the 666 stood for. After reading the verses concerning the number 666, I asked God in prayer for the intelligence to know the identity of the man that the number 666 stood for. Again, believing that asking for intelligence was the key not just asking for the name. I thought it would come to me quickly because as I thought I had figured out the names of the Seven Spirits of God fairly quickly, in about 3 months time. Well after a couple of years of waiting for the answer to come to me, I kind of gave up and began thinking that it may not be for me to figure out.
Fast forward to the summer of 1987, I had quit my job and was between employers. At that time I had decided to reread the Books of 1st and 2nd Kings, because I thought that I could gain some insight on how to become a leader and traverse a new beginning for my life. It didn't take long that I happened upon the verse 1st Kings 10:14. Low and behold, there was the number 666. Because of the acute attention I had developed in wanting the answer to the prayer from before, I immediately felt like it dawned upon me that this was the answer. Not a very well received conclusion by any one besides myself. Those that I made this claim too, including Billy Graham's staff, told me that the Bible didn't support this conclusion. I should have recognized that as a clue that I should read the Bible again, cover to cover. I didn't do that very quickly because it wasn't until the mid 1990's that I finally completed reading the Bible again for the second time. By this time I had sited another verse that contained the 666 in 2nd Chronicles 9:13. I still wasn't any more aware of drawing a pragmatic conclusion of how to support my conclusion about the number 666 representing King Solomon than before.
I started reading the Bible again, cover to cover. This time I found a law for the Kings of Israel in Deuteronomy 17:14-20 that sites that the Kings of Israel aren't supposed to do exactly what King Solomon had done. OK, now I am getting somewhere with a pragmatic conclusion. Still this was not enough to sway anyone to not revere King Solomon as wise and associate him with the number 666. Barbara Bernstingle, one of the theologians responsible for the creation of the Good News Bible (American Bible Society) went so far as to convey that King Solomon may have been forgiven although there was no scripture to support such. I was now on a crusade that it was blasphemous to revere King Solomon as wise and that to continue such would be reasoning for God to ignore prayers. This would also answer questions about those that Christ sends away from Himself in Matthew 7:21-23.
The fourth reading, cover to cover, got me even further along with a pragmatic conclusion of Solomon's guilt but also looking for scripture that would allow the accepting that King Solomon was forgiven. I couldn't find anything about him being forgiven, but did find scripture that definitely leads one to realize that he will never be forgiven. The verse, Deuteronomy 29:20, states exactly that. Also verse 2nd Kings 23:13, clearly states that the false gods that Solomon had introduced in Israel weren't torn down until King Josiah.
Now, for a current understanding about the role that Revelation portrays about King Solomon as indicated in verse Revelation 13:18, would be that it is wise to understand who the number 666 stands for. Revelation 17:8, is fulfilled with the name King Solomon because he once lived, but died, and is brought up again to the understanding that it is he that the number stands for. Now, for those of you that say how can this be, since King Solomon definitely had a side to him that God Loved and anyone could not see God damning him, here is a "loop hole". The good side of this man that became king of Israel had another name which God had given him at birth rather than the name King David gave him. See verse 2nd Samuel 12:25 for this answer.
From all this it becomes clear that each and every one of us has a name that was given to us by God and one that man gives. The chaff that goes to Hell is the bad side of us and the meat of the grain of wheat that God uses for His Glory is the good side of us that goes to Heaven. For the number 666 being on the foreheads of the followers of the Beast, I believe that metaphorically it stands for greed. Greed is at the forethought of those marked by the Beast. In the Old Testament, God says to hold in our foreheads reverence and conviction for the Ten Commandments and on our forearms the knowledge of the scriptures. Those that do this will receive great blessings.

For PEACE Sake
For PEACE Sake
King David whom God loved, committed a sin
He didn't know he was committing a sin
Through a prophet, King David was made aware
Because of the sin, King David had to choose
One of three forms of punishment
One was to run from his enemies for awhile
One was a famine
One was a plague
Running probably should have been the choice
But King David left it up to God
So God, I'm sure to impress, sent a plague
The Angel of Death stopped
At a God fearing home
King David, finally submitted humbly
I personally don't know if King David knew
That his sin was forgetting
That with God
His military might
Need not to be anything to worry about
Peace for a thousand years, through God
Through further study I came to realize that King David, whom God loved, did come to know that his mistake was to forget that with God it doesn't take large numbers.
